Wel come
A desktop is the most common type of PC - the type that is currently found in most people's homes. A desktop workstation is any PC that is being used for regular (ie, non-server) applications, and is typically stationary (ie, it is not frequently moved from place to place).
If a desktop PC is connected to a LAN and able to access the resources that are made available by the server, it is known as a "client" PC; otherwise, it is known as a "standalone" PC.
Computer
A laptop (also known as a notebook) is a PC that is functionally equivalent to a desktop, except that it is designed for mobile use, and is small enough to fit on your lap. A laptop includes most of the typical components of a desktop PC, including a display, a keyboard, a pointing device (touchpad), a hard disk and DVD writer.
A tablet PC is a laptop whose display unit can rotate 180° and fold down on top of the keyboard to provide a flat writing surface. The user can then operate the computer with a stylus or digital pen, or a fingertip, instead of a keyboard or mouse. Tablet PCs are often used for applications where the user must be standing rather than sitting, and when input of non-character based information (such as diagrams, mathematical symbols, etc.) is necessary.
As the name suggests, hand-held computers are small enough to fit into the palm of your hand. They are also commonly known as palm-top computers, or personal digital assistants, or PDAs.
About
Hand-held computers are smaller versions of tablet PCs, with the ability to input textual information using a small keyboard, or written / graphical data using a stylus pen.
